Circle Lenses – What do they do?
Circle lenses make the eyes appear larger than they are by covering the iris and part of the whites.
There’s no doubt that Lady Gaga has hit the entertainment arena with both feet on the ground with her unique fashion statements. And, even though Lady Gaga isn’t the inventor of these fashionable eye lenses, she has definitely been influential in young girls and women alike taking it to a level where the FDA is having a fit.
Seems that the non-prescribed and prescribed lenses are being labeled as dangerous in the sense that they could cause blindness for the wearer.
Without getting too deep into this topic, we’re posting this video to give you an idea of what has sparked this seemingly innocent Japanese anime-look into a world-wide controversy.
The Ulzzang girls have been posting sexy head-shots of themselves on the Internet while wearing their circle lenses accentuating their eyes. The word Ulzzang in Korea means best face or pretty.
