Karyn Layvonne White was born on October 14, 1965 in Los Angeles, California. She is a singer/song writer and Interior Designer. During her popularity in singing R&B, Urban, Pop and Club/Dance in the 1980′s, she had successful hits such as “The Way You Love Me,” “Secret Rendezvous,” and “Superwoman.” Karyn married Terry Lewis in 1992 and together they had a daughter, Ashley Nicole. Eventually they divorced, and she later married producer/musician Bobby G.
